2010 WOCN/WCET Joint Conference Abstracts
Online Abstract Submission will be open from August 17 to November 2, 2009.
2010 will be a historic year as the two premier wound, ostomy, and continence associations come together with a Universal Focus on Patient Care. The WOCN Society and WCET will unite to educate the world on the most up-to-date patient care treatments, evidence-based research, and techniques aimed to advance the profession. Learn from top speakers throughout the world, network with international colleagues, present your research, and return to your practice with newfound knowledge designed to improve the lives of patients.
Make a difference in the field by submitting an abstract in the following categories:
- Research Abstracts - Report on original research involving WOC patients.
- Practice Innovation Abstracts - Describe an innovation to WOC practice you implemented to include a description of the problem, purpose of the innovation, and specific outcome measures.
- Case Study Abstracts - Describe a unique plan of care utilized in at least three patients with similar conditions.
- NEW! International Project - For international participants who wish to present information about a special wound, ostomy or continence (WOC) related project. These submissions will be presented in the form of a poster. Topics will be for professional practice or clinical care projects.
